"It’s an exciting project for the club," claims the mesmerising midfielder

N'Golo Kante has stated that he'd like to extend his stay at Stamford Bridge for another few years in order to play a part in Chelsea's new project.

The prolific midfielder is facing an uncertain future, with his contract expiring after the end of the season. The 32-year-old, however, has declared he is fully committed to the West Londoners.

Asked if he wants to be a part of Chelsea's plans, Kante told Sky Sports:

"For sure. It's an exciting project for the club. Unfortunately, this season hasn't been to Chelsea's standards. But everyone wants to go in this way, the way of success and winning titles. I hope this club will again fight in this direction. Let's see where I will be, but I hope that this is a change for the club, that is most important."

Kante moved to Chelsea in 2016 after helping Leicester win their historic title. Since then, he has made 269 appearances for the Blues and scored 13 goals in the process.
