Mulee has vacated his role barely two months since he took over.

Jacob Ghost Mulee has left his position as the Kenya Police FC Technical Director, barely two months since he was appointed, Mozzart Sport can confirm.

Mulee was on 31st October named Police’s new TD, a role that would see him in charge of the team’s playing philosophy, recruiting, and overall well-being on the pitch. Barely two months since he took over, he has now left the club over what has been described as overlapping of roles.

“It is true Ghost is no longer with us, he has left his position as technical director. I think when he came on board his roles were not clear, he sometimes performed duties such as conducting training which ordinarily should be performed by the head coach and his bench. After evaluation, both parties agreed that it was best to part ways and he has now left the team,” a source from the law enforcers’ camp told Mozzart Sport.

Before moving to Police, Mulee held a similar position at FKF Premier League side, FC Talanta and it is not yet clear as to whether he will be heading back to the Ken Kenyatta coached outfit.

Meanwhile, Police coach Bobby Ogola said fatigue may have cost his side a win after playing out to a one-all draw against Wazito FC on Saturday. Duke Abuya opened the scoring for Police before Duncan Otieno's own goal earned Wazito a share of the spoils.

“We have played three games in seven days and I think these players were fatigued, they are not built for such a congested fixture. In the old days, we would play on Saturday, Sunday, and midweek without feeling a pintch but nowadays the players are different and we really have to take good care of them,"

"We generally played well against Wazito despite missing the likes of Musa (Mohammed) but I think that element of fatigue crept in and our levels dropped but all in all, we had a good game and we now shift focus to our next match,” the tactician said.

Next for Police is a home match against Bidco United at Kasarani.
