After the news about Edu's imminent departure from Emirates Stadium, now the information regarding his next move appeared

This morning's news that Arsenal's sporting director Edu is set to leave the club stunned all the Gunners fans. As per The Independent, the Brazilian's wish was to become CEO at Arsenal - a logical, but perhaps unattainable desire. At least at Emirates Stadium. However, there's someone willing to offer him that.

According to the same source, Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis has the Brazilian on his radar and would love to cooperate with him. Hence, he is reportedly willing to meet Edu's demands and triple his salary on top of that. Moreover, Edu would allegedly be in charge of the entire Marinakis group, given that the Greek businessman currently owns the Portuguese side Rio Ave and Olympiakos in his homeland, in addition to the Premier League club.

Marinakis' appetites might have increased lately, especially after Nottingham's terrific start of the season and the third place they hold at the moment. Should all these allegations turn out to be accurate, Edu would have a similar role to Jurgen Klopp's, who recently became Head of Global Football at Red Bull, in charge of advising all teams within their group - Leipzig, Salzburg, Leeds, Bragantino, New York, and Omiya Ardiya.
