Don't look back in Ange(r): Postecoglou becomes the worst manager in Forest history

Not a single victory in the opening six games in charge of the Tricky Trees. Fans demand his sacking
Although the Gallagher brothers, Liam and Noel, are probably the most famous Manchester City fans, we just had to use the title of Oasis' popular song "Don't Look Back in Anger" to describe what is going on with Nottingham Forest and their manager, Ange Postecoglou.
The former Tottenham boss joined the Tricky Trees at the beginning of September, replacing Nuno Espirito Santo. However, as things stand, after last night's dreadful 3-2 home loss to Midtjylland in the Europa League, he's on the verge of being sacked after barely three weeks in charge.

Moreover, Postecoglou has already earned his place in the history of the two-time European champion as the first permanent Forest manager for 100 years to fail to win any of his first six matches (two draws and four defeats)!
After the home side conceded their third goal last night at the City Ground, many Forest supporters chanted "You're getting sacked in the morning" towards the Australian tactician.
"The fans are disappointed. They are allowed to have an opinion on it. I heard their opinion," said Postecoglou after the match.
"Nothing surprises me in football. It's the climate we're in. It seems that's the way things are going. It's nothing I can control."

The international break is just around the corner, which could be a perfect chance for Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis to get rid of Postecoglou. Yet, the coach believes there's still room for improvement.
"My responsibility is to make sure we get some wins for this football club and progress it," said Postecoglou.
"I would prefer if people were optimistic in their outlook of what I'm doing. I can only change that by winning games of football.
"Irrespective, that's not going to change the way I'm taking things on. I really believe in the process of what we're doing and I don't think we're far away from being the team that can eradicate the situation we're in at the moment and get the results.
"I believe we are on the right track and when we get through this period of uncertainty we are in, we will be on a good path."
