The two Saints' centre-backs scored both goals in their team's 2-0 triumph against Auxerre, though the victory came with a price, as Vitinha picked up an injury
After a surprising 1-0 defeat to Marseille in the previous Ligue 1 round (their first of the season), Paris Saint-Germain quickly bounced back, brushing Auxerre aside 2-0 at Parc des Princes.
Even though Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Goncalo Ramos led the Saints' attack last night, the duo of their centre-backs shone, as if they were strikers, scoring both goals for the home crew.

The newcomer from Bournemouth, Ilya Zabarnyi, broke the deadlock in the 32nd minute, netting his maiden goal with the French side to Vitinha's assist, while his defence partner, Lucas Beraldo, sealed the deal nine minutes after the break.
The Parisians returned to the top of the league, though Luis Enrique faces many headaches.
Namely, after the Ballon d'Or laureate Ousmane Dembele, the captain Marquinhos, Desire Doue, and Joao Neves, who had all been sidelined ahead of the clash against Auxerre, only three minutes following his assist for the opener, Vitinha picked up an injury as well.
Its severity is still unknown, so it's unclear whether the Portuguese will be ready for PSG's UEFA Champions League derby clash against Barcelona next Wednesday. As for the remaining four unavailable players, they are most likely to miss the duel in Spain.
