Napoli's leader spoke about potential comings and goings at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona

Nigerian hitman Victor Osimhen is certain to leave Napoli at the end of the season, with a move to the Premier League or Real Madrid charted for him. At least, those are the words of the Serie A holders' president Aurelio De Laurentiis, who spoke about his club following a Serie A assembly meeting.

Regarding transfer operations, De Laurentiis clarified that Napoli has to deal with numerous absences.

"The Africa Cup of Nations has deprived us of some players at an important time, forcing us to make some incoming operations. Zielinski to Inter in June? If he wants to stay, we are ready to embrace him. However, if his agent has smelled or sensed the money. He may have imagined getting a nice little biscuit and convinced the player to change scenery. Certainly, the player perceives a higher salary from Napoli compared to what is reported in the newspapers. I don't know if he'll go to Inter, but jokingly, I told Beppe Marotta (Inter's CEO) that he's not behaving well. And he denies it..."

In recent days, Victor Osimhen gave an interview stating that he has already decided what the next step in his career will be, implying that he should leave Napoli at the end of the season.

"I wasn't surprised by his words. We already knew he would leave. Likely destinations? Real Madrid, PSG, or some top Premier League club."

De Laurentiis then ruled out Jose Mourinho's arrival on the Napoli bench.

"He's a great coach, but his future is not with Napoli. Jose is not part of our plans, and I believe he will not continue his career in Italy. Mazzarri? He is doing his job. He is a great professional."
