Dance with somebody like Pablo used to at San Mames

Bilbao will host Villareal in tonight's La Liga tie, and the guy everyone talks about is a former Yellow Submarine player. Albeit at West Ham now, his brilliance is still an unforgettable part of this Spanish rivalry

Athletic Bilbao vs Villareal.

Ok, sure, at first glimpse, every single fixture of the Tanzanian Premier League sounds more exciting and promising than this one. And, do you want to hear the truth? It probably is like that, to be fair. But what you don't know is that it was completely different until a few years ago.

(2.50) ATHLETIC BILBAO (3.20) VILLAREAL (3.15)

It was such a pleasure to sit in front of the TV late at night, lay back on the sofa, and simply wait for the moment of Pablo's ingeniosity. Because, sooner or later, he would stun you with his moves, dribbles, or long-distance shots, turning that lovely San Mames stadium in Bilbao into his own playground. Or shall we rather say - his dance floor?

That was the case with Pablo Fornals, a current West Ham midfielder, who spent two years with Villareal between 2017 and 2019. And for some reason, he enjoyed playing against Bilbao so much, especially those away ties in which he would blossom into a genuine magician.

His 50-yard-long screamer in September 2018 is considered almost a myth, and his dance near the right corner remains a part of Spanish football heritage.

He'll probably watch the game tonight on the TV since the Hammers will have a night off before tomorrow's derby against the Spurs. We bet he'll feel a bit of nostalgia when the Yellow Submarine enters the Basque stronghold. And, hopefully, someone will recreate his magic. If not, we can always turn to those Tanzanians.
