Costly push! Mitrovic gets an eight-match ban!

The Fulham striker has already served one
English Football Association decided to add five more games to Aleksandar Mitrovic's automatic three-match suspension for his mindless push on referee Chris Kavanagh in Fulham's FA Cup loss to Manchester United last month.
The big striker earned his ban after he reacted angrily to the sending-off of his teammate Willian in the heated encounter at Old Trafford. Such a red card automatically warrants a three-game suspension, but the FA's regulatory committee decided that it wasn't punishment enough for the Serbian's actions - so they added five more games to the suspension, with the added $94,000 fine.
Mitrovic sat out Fulham's 2-1 defeat by Bournemouth at the weekend so has seven games left to serve. It means he will miss his side's games against West Ham, Everton, Leeds, Aston Villa, Manchester City, Liverpool and Leicester City.
Fulham will have just three games remaining when Mitrovic is due back from suspension. He will be eligible to face Southampton, Crystal Palace and Manchester United in the Premier League before the season ends.

The FA can usually only take retrospective action over incidents that have not been seen or acted upon by match officials during a game. Still, it has the ability to apply for a suspension to be extended if it determines the dismissal offence to be 'truly exceptional'.
"The FA has claimed that the standard punishment which would otherwise apply to Aleksandar Mitrovic for the sending off offence of violent conduct that he committed towards the match referee is clearly insufficient. In addition, Aleksandar Mitrovic's behaviour and/or language was allegedly improper and/or abusive and/or insulting and/or threatening following his dismissal."
