According to Marca, UEFA is currently evaluating the matter and should provide a definitive response to the Catalan club shortly. It should be noted that Barcelona, ​​by requesting this change, is not seeking any sporting advantage , and that is precisely the spirit of the rule. If it changes stadiums, it is only because the construction work has not been completed. UEFA established this rule to prevent a team from changing venues and benefiting from a specific opponent, whether due to the condition of the pitch or a much larger capacity.
