Apparently, neither Niclas Fullkrug nor the Rossoneri can catch a break
Two weeks ago, AC Milan unveiled Niclas Fullkrug as the centrepiece of a potential win-win project. The Rossoneri could finally hit the bullseye and get a striker capable of scoring consistently, while the German would revive his career and find the form from a couple of years ago, which secured him a spot in the national team.
However, it appears that neither the Milan side nor the 32-year-old can catch a break, as Fullkrug picked up an injury after spending just 106 minutes in action!
After clocking 21 and 25 minutes, respectively, in his maiden two games, Massimiliano Allegri made him a starter against Fiorentina four days ago, giving him an hour on the pitch.
And then, suddenly, a setback.
New Milan signing Niclas Fullkrug has reportedly broken his toe, and is now facing several weeks on the sidelines just 106 minutes into his Rossoneri career. pic.twitter.com/aaAigbvWJM

According to sources from the Boot, the striker broke a toe phalanx during the clash against Viola and will be sidelined for a few weeks, set to miss the Serie A duels with Como (tonight, 22.45) and Lecce in three days.
In Fullkrug's absence, Rafael Leao, Christian Pulisic, and the awaken Christopher Nkunku who scored three goals in the previous two games he played, will have to fill in for him and help the Rossoneri keep up with the soaring Inter.
