The Englishman spent only 104 days at Stamford Bridge and is leaving as one of the least successful managers the Blues have ever had
Liam Rosenior’s stint with Chelsea is over after just 104 days!
The Englishman succeeded Enzo Maresca at Stamford Bridge on January 8, with the primary task of getting the team out of the crisis and qualifying for the Champions League.
Less than four months later, he is leaving the Blues in seventh position in the Premier League and with realistic chances to miss out on any of the European competitions.

In the EPL, Chelsea are on a five-game losing streak and haven’t found the net for 476 minutes, which is a historic embarrassment, as is the 3-0 defeat to Brighton last night, which was apparently the last straw for the Blues board.
With 1.42 points per game in the Premier League, Rosenior is the second-worst Blues manager, behind Graham Potter, who averaged 1.27 points per game.
The 41-year-old has made exceptional results with Strasbourg, but Chelsea is a whole other story, and he has felt it firsthand.
The club has announced the tactician’s departure on its official website, revealing that Calum McFarlane will be an interim coach.

“On behalf of everyone at Chelsea FC, we would like to place on record our gratitude to Liam and his staff for all their efforts during their time with the Club.”
“Liam has always conducted himself with the highest integrity and professionalism following his appointment midway through the season.”
“This has not been a decision the Club has taken lightly, however recent results and performances have fallen below the necessary standards with still so much more to play for this season. Everyone at Chelsea FC wishes Liam every success in the future,” it said in the statement.
