Estevao Willian, 16, is one of the most promising talents in the world. He won't stay at Palmeiras for too long, for sure

He's one of the finest jewels Brazil has to offer. Although he won't even be considered an adult for another two years, his name has been circulating among those international scouts for some time and nothing but a world football elite has been fighting for his signature.

So, yesterday he put a pen on paper - signing his first professional contract with the Brazilian giants Palmeiras.

Estevao Willian Almeida de Oliveira Goncalves, or shortly Estevao, is on the wishlist of Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal, Real Madrid and Barcelona, but for now, he'll stay in his home country.

He has signed a long-term deal valid until June 2026, and there's a release clause worth €60m.

What is even more interesting about the kid, is that he nicknamed himself Messinho, in honour of the Argentine genius, due to some similarities in their playing skills and style.

"Today is a very special day in my life. I thank Palmeiras, my representatives and my family, for always being by my side", said the young man, who was presented with a birthday cake after signing the bond, at the Football Academy.

"Palmeiras is a giant club, which offers all the necessary structure for its athletes, and my main objective is to win many titles for the club," said Estevao after signing.

Despite his young age, the left-footed forward was already champion of the Brasileirao Sub-17, the Brazilian Cup and the Super Cup. Also, he raised the Paulista tournament for U-15 and U-17, being the best scorer with 23 goals in 34 games.
