Nuno Espirito Santo has no choice but to focus on football amid Premier League investigation
Nottingham Forest head coach Nuno Espirito Santo has expressed concern over his club being charged with breaching the Premier League's Profitability and Sustainability rules. The Portuguese is busy preparing the team for the FA Cup Third round replay against Blackpool on Wednesday night.
The announcement on Monday outlined the charges, and the club has a two-week window to respond before an independent commission concludes a hearing by 8 April.

The charges expose Forest to potential sanctions, similar to Everton, who had previously been deducted ten points earlier in the season. Despite the looming issue, Nuno emphasized that the situation would not serve as a distraction for his squad, particularly as they prepare for the FA Cup replay against Blackpool on Wednesday night.
"We are all concerned in the club. But me as a coach, it's nothing I have to think about or deal with. My job is clear, it is to prepare the team and that's what we're focused on. We train and we know the players know the situation, but I'll tell them the same as I'm telling you, let's forget about this and focus on our job. Our job is the game against Blackpool."
The club has committed to "cooperate fully" with the Premier League regarding the charges and expressed a desire for a "speedy and fair resolution" to the matter. However, Espirito Santo has not revealed much about the discussions he has had with the leadership at Nottingham Forest regarding the situation.
"All the conversations and meetings we have are private. I understand that this is the news, but at the same time it's not my concern. I have to focus. Everyone has to wait until the decision comes, and when it does we're here to deal with that. My job is to work, work and work, and now I have to work even more. That is all I am thinking about."
