Spain’s international was outstanding in Barcelona’s victory tonight, scoring two goals, and was joined by fellow national teammate Dani Olmo, who made it 3-0

Barcelona has the luxury of playing at their own pace, and in tonight’s match against Getafe, we saw Hansi Flick’s side operate on half throttle — and even that was more than enough for a comfortable victory.

Blaugrana took a 2-0 lead into halftime against Getafe after a dominant first half full of chances and attacking intent. The match started with Raphinha showing early promise in the 4th minute, receiving a pass at the edge of the box and shooting just wide of the left post. Four minutes later, Ferran Torres had a golden opportunity in the penalty area, but a sliding Getafe defender managed to block his shot.

The breakthrough came in the 15th minute. Dani Olmo played a precise pass to Ferran Torres, who calmly finished inside the box, sending the ball into the left corner to give Barcelona a 1-0 LEAD.

Barcelona doubled their advantage in the 34th minute following a lightning-fast counterattack. Raphinha received the ball, lifted his head, and set up Ferran Torres, who expertly finished from just outside the box past the goalkeeper, making it 2-0. The goal is HERE!

Getafe had a few scares in the remaining minutes of the first half. In the 41st minute, Robert Lewandowski received a perfect pass and aimed for the bottom left corner, but David Soria was equal to the shot. Just two minutes later, Ferran Torres struck immediately after receiving a precise ball inside the box, but his powerful shot rattled the crossbar.

The second half saw Barcelona extend their dominance over Getafe, adding another goal to their first-half advantage. In the 48th minute, Javier Munoz had a good chance from just outside the box, but his shot went slightly wide of the left post.

Three minutes later, Domingos Duarte escaped his marker from a corner, heading toward the bottom right corner, only for the Barcelona goalkeeper to make an excellent save.

Barcelona threatened in the 60th minute when Dani Olmo struck a free kick from shooting range, but the ball sailed just over the crossbar. Just two minutes later, Olmo produced a sensational finish. Picking up a perfectly timed pass from Marcus Rashford, he fired an unstoppable shot into the net, making it 3-0. The goal is HERE!
