
Bandari receive injury boost after midfielder resumes training

The midfielder suffered an injury back in mid-October.
After more than a month on the sidelines due to a minor fracture on his leg, Bandari defensive midfielder Dennis Magige has resumed light training.
The midfielder who had a breakthrough season last campaign was one of the vital players for Bandari as they came close to lifting their maiden league title.
Magige suffered an injury while in training back in mid-October and was expected to be sidelined for up to six weeks.
The club confirmed that Magige has resumed training in a bid to regain his fitness following his injury that had kept him out for more than a month.
“Defensive midfielder, Dennis Magige has started light training. Magige suffered a leg injury last month,” read a statement from the club.
The midfielder is however not expected to feature for the Dockers in the coming games as he regains full fitness before being utilised by the club.
His return will come as a huge boost to head coach Anthony ‘Modo’ Kimani and will bolster his options in midfield.
Magige will however face stern competition to regain a starting berth in the team as he will compete for places with Fidel Origa.
