AC Milan barely salvaged a 1-1 draw against Como at San Siro last night, leaving their city rivals seven points clear at the top of the Serie A table
Last night, a team that played two out of the previous three Champions League finals, Inter Milan, was slapped in the face in freezing Norway, falling seriously short against Bodo/Glimt 3-1. Now, the Nerazzurri will have to try to bounce back at home in five days, but even that shocking defeat had a slight silver lining, as good news came from their homeland.
Their first followers and main rivals for the Serie A title, AC Milan, drew against Como at San Siro 1-1, leaving Cristian Chivu's crew seven points clear at the top of the table and making their path to the Scudetto pretty clear.
Milan miss out on the chance to go within five points of rivals Inter at the top of Serie A — they drew 1-1 with Como at San Siro.

The Rossoneri custodian and captain Mike Maignan has been arguably their best player throughout the season, bringing them points on several occasions. However, last night, he was a tragic figure. In the 32nd minute, the Frenchman made a colossal blunder, passing the ball straight into Nico Paz's feet, and the Argentinian gladly accepted the gift and put Como in front.
After such a shock, Massimiliano Allegri's men desperately went for a leveller, aware that they needed a win to keep their title hopes high, but alas... The Italian gaffer subbed on his most lethal firepower: Alexis Saelemaekers, Niclas Fullkrug, and Christian Pulisic, but all Milan managed to do was salvage a draw.
In the 64th minute, Maignan's fellow keeper and compatriot, Jean Butez, followed in his footsteps, rushing out for no reason and making a massive error, which led to Rafael Leao's lob and equalizer.
The Rossoneri had half an hour to pursue the eventual winner, but their performance was quite lackluster, as Cesc Fabregas' men shut down every route to their goal.
After the latest failure, Milan need a miracle and their title dream seems empty, as Inter have almost got their hands on the Serie A trophy.
