Jack Wilshere's side ends up in a city which is 87 miles away from the one in which they should have arrive

Bournemouth, Brighton. Potatoe, potato.

That must be what Arsenal's bus driver thought before taking the Gunners' U-18 side's team coach to Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon instead of Brighton, where they should have faced the Seagulls.

The fixture was initially supposed to kick off at noon at Brighton's AMEX Football Centre in Lancing but was then delayed until 12.30 pm before being postponed, with the game now having to take place at a later date.

The Arsenal squad, led by the club's former player and now manager Jack Wilshere, ended up in Bournemouth, which is 87 miles (a 1 hour and 45-minute drive) away from Lancing.

Arsenal had been looking to extend their unbeaten run in all competitions to four matches.

It takes about two hours of driving to reach Bournemouth and Brighton from London, as both those cities are located on the south coast, but - as mentioned above - they're not close to each other. We guess the chauffeur won't make the same mistake. Ever. Again.
