The destiny of legendary coach in Real Madrid is not fully finished
Despite the recent denials in the media, Carlo Ancelotti’s future at Real Madrid is not entirely certain, and the final decision has yet to be made—especially with Brazil’s national team still eager to hire the current Real Madrid manager. It’s turning into a real game of cat and mouse.
Still under contract with Real Madrid until 2026, Ancelotti is reportedly considering his future in Madrid, according to The Athletic. Faced with speculation that Xabi Alonso could succeed him at the helm of Los Blancos, along with the mounting pressure he’s dealing with, the legendary coach is increasingly contemplating a change of scenery.
Regardless of Ancelotti’s firm denial in recent days, he holds a strong reputation within the Brazilian Football Federation (CBF). If we consider the possibility of Zinedine Zidane taking over the French national team from Didier Deschamps, Brazil is still prioritizing Ancelotti as their top choice for head coach. The 65-year-old tactician is one of two primary candidates for the job, with Jorge Jesus being the other. CBF is in a hurry to appoint a new coach following Dorival Junior’s dismissal after the team’s humiliating loss to Argentina.

Whichever coach takes the position, a final decision is expected before the FIFA Club World Cup, which will be held in the United States from June 15 to July 13. Both Real Madrid and Al Hilal will participate in the tournament.
