APS Bomet is rebuilding after a season in the cold

Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Division One outfit Administration Police Bomet FC have announced their former assistant coach Alfred Chole as the new man to steer the club's wheels forward.

Chole has been sharpening St Mary's Yala and during his short stint with the school team he guided them to their first Kenya Secondary Schools Sports Association Nyanza Region appearance.

The young tactician makes a return picking over from experienced Benedict Wanjala who left the club for their sister team Yatta based fourth tier side Administration Police FC.

Chole, renowned for his ability to squeeze results out of young talents, was given the mandate to lead the club into a new era due to his ability to win matches with any squad at his disposal.

"In the rebuilding process we wanted someone who can easily mingle with the players as well as giving out quick results and Chole ticked all the boxes," offered a source at the law enforcers camp.

The former Micheal Olunga Football Academy ( MOFA) instructor, was delighted upon confirmation of his appointment, putting open his ambition of instantly guiding the club to the National Super League.

"Bomet is a huge club and I am super excited to join them, my aim is to see the team go back to where it belongs and with thew new faces around I am sure of doing it in one season," he stated.

Meanwhile, the club has also roped in services of other experienced experts who will form part of Chole's technical bench at the Bomet based club.

Linking up with the 2021-22 National Super League champions are Kipng'etich Bett assuming the role of the team manager, Sebastian Owino as the technical director and Oscar Agwona who maintains his role as the first assistant coach.

Others are Darshan Lubembe, goalkeepers trainer Fredrick Onyango, team doctor Ramadhan Kenga and Kevin Mulipi joins the Black Berets as head of security.

Chole's first match on the dugout will be against the newly promoted Kiminini Combined on Saturday at Bomet IAAF stadium.
