Kenya is making a big return to youth football and has been placed in a very tough group (Group B) with Nigeria, Tunisia, and Morocco. Kenya will try to get off to a strong start as they aim to reach the semi-finals and qualify for the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Chile later this year.

“Our goal is to qualify for the World Cup. To do that, we must reach the semi-finals. I believe our team has what it takes and we are fully focused,” said coach Salim Babu in an earlier interview.

According to the fixtures released by CAF, Kenya will play all their group games at the 30 June Stadium in Cairo. Their schedule is as follows:

Kenya’s Group B matches:

May 1: Nigeria vs Kenya – 6PM (30 June Stadium, Cairo)

May 4: Kenya vs Morocco – 9PM (30 June Stadium, Cairo)

May 7: Kenya vs Tunisia – 6PM (30 June Stadium, Cairo)

The tournament kicks off on Sunday, April 27. The first game will see Sierra Leone face South Africa at 6PM in Ismailia. Later that night, hosts Egypt will play Zambia at 9PM in Cairo.

Senegal, the defending champions, will start their campaign on May 2 against the Central African Republic at 6PM in Suez.
