Traore has Real Betis' offer on the table to replace the club's recently retired icon, Joaquin Sanchez

Adama Traore is apparently on his way back to Spain where it all started for this super-strong player of African roots.

As per the Spanish website Relevo, Traore received an offer from La Liga side Real Betis.

The 27-year-old is into the last days of his contract with Wolverhampton Wanderers and could return to the Iberian Peninsula, where he spent his formative years before moving to England. Last year, the robust forward spent the second part of the season with his boyhood club - Barcelona - on loan.

However, the operation 'Adama to Betis' is not that easy, although sources close to it are optimistic. Apparently, Traore also has a lucrative offer from Arab football, in addition to the fact that Wolverhampton himself did not rule out a possible renewal.

"We would like him to stay with us. Without a doubt, we will try. We hope to be able to reach an agreement," said a member of Wolves' technical management.
