Abraham saves pale Roma and pushes Giallorossi to a draw at Juve

Vlahovic nailed a sensational free-kick before the former Chelsea striker levelled the score

The fact Roma managed to clinch a draw at Turin in the Serie A derby on Saturday night has almost nothing to do with the quality of their performance against Juventus. Because it was deplorable.

Still, Jose Mourinho's slot managed to grab that one point thanks to a moment of Tammy Abraham's brilliance in the second half.

The Old Turin Lady were much better for the vast part of the match, but failed to convert that into a two or three-goal lead, which proved crucial for the final outcome.

Juve were 1-0 up almost instantly after coming out of the locker room. Vlahovic showed he's much more than a genuine striker, equipped only with the usual set of skills. The Serbian fired from the free kick, burying it fiercely under the crossbar for 1-0.

Soon, the host doubled the lead through Locatelli, but his perfect long-range effort was disallowed shortly after due to Vlahovic's early handball.

On the other hand, Mourinho's team looked as if they didn't even turn up at the game, cluelessly wandering around the pitch. Matic and Dybala couldn't get a hold of the ball for most of the match.

Despite that, Giallorossi somehow managed to save themselves from Juve's battering and then responded through Abraham. The tall striker made the most of one opportunity in the middle of the second half to tie the game and provide his side with an undeserved draw.
