Leroy Sane could be coming back to the Premier League
Mohamed Salah stayed at Anfield after a back-and-forth transfer saga with Saudi Arabian clubs but that does not mean the Egyptian star will stay with the Reds for much longer. And at Liverpool, they are aware of that.
Salah has been attracting interest from the Saudis and during the summer, Liverpool had their resolve tested by Al-Ittihad after a verbal offer of up to 170 million euros was submitted for the Egyptian on the penultimate day of the transfer window. The Reds managed to maintain the services of their star man however the prospect of further interest from the kingdom remains with Saudi Pro League director of football, Michael Emenalo, declaring that Salah would be welcome in the competition.
The fact that football has become a business more than it is a romantic pastime made Liverpool executives think ahead and they are already screening for potential successors to the incredible North African. Over the weekend, it was reported that the Reds had made the former Manchester City winger Leroy Sane their number one target.
Bayern Munich attacker is said to have made it clear when he wants to make a decision over his future and not only that - signing Sane could be the new transfer record for the Reds.
A report from the Mirror claimed that Jurgen Klopp was ready to smash the club's record transfer shelled out for Darwin Nunez from Benfica.
The Liverpool Echo understands that it would go against regular transfer policy for Liverpool to pursue a player who will be 28 in January, even though Sane has made clear his admiration of Klopp in the past despite turning down the chance of a move to Anfield earlier in his career when leaving Schalke for Manchester City

In terms of Sane, German news outlet Bild stated that the 27-year-old wants to make a "fundamental decision" on his future next summer.
The winger has just under two years remaining on his contract at the Allianz Arena and according to Bild, at this stage no club official in Bavaria has sought discussions over an extension.
Real Madrid are also said to be among the clubs monitoring the Germany international's situation.
