The Red Devils clinch three points albeit the visitors were as close to draw as it gets (3-1)

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer went into the dressing after the final whistle at Old Trafford with a sense of relief on his face. Manchester United added one more game on their under-achieving list of this season's fixtures, although the Red Devils pulled off a victory against modest Burnley 3-1 (0-0).

Sean Dyche's side was only a few minutes away from the deserved draw, but unplayable United winger Mason Greenwood stepped up to score twice and provide his team with an important win. After a goalless first half, the home team showed the strenght and determination to come infront shortly after the break.

Guided by Marcus Rashford, they found lots of free space in Burnley's defence, which resulted with a fine opener three minutes into the second half.

Even though we all thought Ole's boys will kill the game instantly, it didn't happen. Moreover, Dyche's squad was there to equalise only few minutes later. Tarkowski was the most clever in the opponent's box, as he jumped over three Burnley players to nail the header for 1-1.

Another 20 minutes lacked action on both ends, but Greenwood was patient enough to wait for another chance. It came six finutes before the final whistle, when the young forward scored with a little help of Burnley's defender.

The last goal of the match was seen deep in the stoppage time. It was a powerful counter-attack of the home team, with an experienced Cavani as a scorer from a few yards out. United are now eight points adrifft of their city rivals, Manchester City, with almost no chances of clinching the Premier League title.
