The clubhouse is deemed a bold step toward professionalizing operations and laying down long-term roots for the club.
Images shared on the club's official social media platforms show significant progress at the construction site.
The visuals depict partially built stone structures, complete with concrete block walls, corrugated sheet roofing, and wooden scaffolding.
Workers can be seen actively engaged at the site, which is surrounded by a backdrop of towering trees in what appears to be a semi-rural setting.
Though the ground remains uneven and scattered with construction materials, the vision is already taking shape.
In a detailed statement, the club outlined the motivation behind the project and what fans can expect upon completion.
“3K FC as a club purchased a piece of land in Kangaru with the little resources we could salvage. We went ahead to initiate the construction of a clubhouse. The clubhouse will house all our players, a team doctor, a club chef to make meals for our players, and a kit manager, amongst others,” the statement read.
One of the unique features will be a special room dedicated to the club captain, a nod to leadership and team culture.
Currently, the project is estimated to be 50% complete.
Upon completion, the facility will boast landscaped grounds for warm-ups and evening workouts, a fully equipped gym, DSTV and WiFi connectivity, a modern kitchen, and ample space set aside for the future development of club offices.
“If this is how the clubhouse looks at 50% completion, imagine how it would look at 100%. We try our best with the resources we have, imagine what such a visionary club would develop if we earned ourselves a corporate sponsor,” the club appealed.
Their ambitious move comes on the back of a promising 2024/25 season, where 3K FC finished ninth in the NSL with 45 points, 27 behind table-toppers Nairobi United, who earned promotion to the FKF Premier League.
Under the guidance of head coach Francis Chege, the team now heads into the 2025/26 campaign with renewed determination..
