Day one will see six Premier League sides begin what they hope will be a deep run in the competition
A total six FKF Premier League teams will be in action on Saturday as Mozzart Bet Cup action kicks off with Round of 64 matches in different venues across the country.
Last year’s losing finalists will look to make another deep run in the competition, as will the 2023 finalists Tusker, who are chasing an unprecedented cup double this season.
Previous winners Kakamega Homeboyz and Kariobangi Sharks will also be in action on Saturday, as will Ulinzi Stars and Shabana.
The day’s early kickoffs are scheduled for 1300 EAT, and will see NSL’s Nairobi United travel to Gusii to face Nyanza Regional League side Global Connections, while Far East United host regional league side MAS at Dandora Stadium.
Division Two side Kipchimat FC will on the other hand host Plantech Kenya at Green Stadium, Kericho at the same time.
In the 1500 EAT kickoffs, Ulinzi Stars will travel to Kerugoya to play Kirinyaga Stars, while Sharks enjoy a meeting with Division One side Spitfire in what promises to be an intriguing match at Dandora Stadium.
Sharks, winless this year, will perhaps view this as an opportunity to ‘unload some arsenal.’

In Gusii Stadium, Tusker will look to avoid an upset against Division Two side Gucha Youth, as KCB’s journey takes them to ASK Nakuru Show Grounds, where they come up against little-known Chemogoch FC, playing in the Lower Rift Regional League.
Shabana, growing jittery of a three-match winless run in the league, will turn their eyes on another Regional League side Solian City in Kericho, as Kakamega Homeboyz visit Division Two side TBM Health in Kisumu.
Other matches on the day will see Division One Zone B side Harvest of Hope(HOHA) - who have reportedly finalized a takeover of NSL club SamWest Blackboots - take on Division One’s Vegpro in Naivasha, as Wayzata Boys tackle Zetech Titans in Ukunda.
