A French runner knocked over an entire row of drinks before taking one during the race
Poor, pathetic, unsportsmanlike.
Unforgivable and unforgettable at the same time. That's the feeling after watching what an experienced French runner, Morhad Amdouni, did in the marathon race that ended in a delightful Eliud Kipchoge's victory.
At the 28km mark, the Frenchman sent the front row of water bottles at a rehydration station cascading onto the floor. To top it off, Amdouni whisked the last bottle of the row of drinks for himself.

Unfortunately for the Frenchman, he eventually fell away from the leading pack to finish in 17th, with Kipchoge sauntering home for a historical defence of his title.
To make things worse, Amdouni later published an Instagram post saying, "I gave everything for my country, for France", which resulted in a backlash from fans who asked him how he plans to explain the whole thing to his children.
Never, ever be like Amdouni in your life.
